POP Account

A POP account is an email account that holds incoming email physically on your server. This is like the email account that you may have with your own Internet Access Provider (like Netcom, AOL, Erols.net) with the major difference being that your email address is not you@yourprovider.com but rather you@yourdomain.com

You can use your e-mail program like Eudora, Microsoft Outlook, Netscape Messenger or any other email client to retrieve the messages out of your POP box.
