Email redirection is very similar to email forwarding, with one notable exception: it forwards email for a specifically defined email address, for example sales@yourdomain.com to an email address other than the "default" forwarding address.

By default, all mail coming to your domain will be captured by a "default" mail box which then forwards all messages to the email address you listed when you ordered your site. However, if you wish to exclude a certain email address from going to the "default" forwarding address (for example mail addressed to sales@yourdomain.com) you can do so by defining it as a "redirect" account and have it forwarded to a different email address than the "default" one.

"Defining" a redirect account and specifying where messages coming for that address need to be forwarded to can be done with the MailTool Wizard in the Account Manager Toolkit.
