A Virtual FTP Server is provided with all our plans. This FTP Server allows you and your customers to upload and download data files. However, for security reasons, we do not permit anonymous FTP access. The FTP Server can be accessed using popular FTP software, such as WS_FTP and CuteFTP, and should be primarily used to upload your web files to your site. You can make unlimited updates to your Virtual FTP server any time of the day.

To distribute files such as software products to the public, the simple and convenient "web page download" can be used. This method has become the most prevalent way of distributing software over the net. Like at Microsoft, Netscape, Shareware.com, and almost all software publishers' sites, your customers can click on a file name listed on your web page and subsequently that file is then automatically transferred to your customers computer. This method uses the HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) and can be combined with other features such as the password protect feature to ensure that only authorized users can download the file.
